Coconutty Almond Chocolate Protein Balls

Yield: About 30 bite-sized balls

Prep Time: 20 Minutes

 

Ingredients

 

3 cups dates, pitted
4 scoops chocolate protein powder

1 1⁄2 cups chocolate chips
1 1⁄2 cups sliced almonds
1⁄2 cup hot water
1 cup coconut flakes

 

Method

  1. Put dates in a bowl of hot water to soften them.

  2. Grind almonds in food processor and add to

    mixing bowl.

  3. Drain dates and blend in food processor and add to mixing bowl.

  4. Add in protein powder, chocolate chips and mix.

  5. Add a little hot water gradually if mixture is too

    dry.

  6. Roll mixture into bite size balls, and roll in coconut.
