Staying Hydrated with Infused Water

Staying hydrated is essential to good health. Lots of people, however, find it challenging to drink their share of water daily. I, for instance, used to prefer juice over water...until I tried infused water. Besides its delicious flavour, it is also packed with vitamins and minerals for added health benefits.

 

There are unlimited combinations of fruits and even herbs to choose from. Also, you could use single fruits - like strawberries or lemon. I shared last month some of the benefits to drink water with lemon - if you missed it, you can read it here. These are some combinations to get you started.

 

- Pineapple and mint

- Raspberry and lime

- Watermelon and rosemary

- Blackberry and sage

- Strawberry and mint

- Orange, lime, and lemon

- Lemongrass and mint

- Strawberry and lemon

- Lemon and ginger

- Lemon and cucumber

- Watermelon and hibiscus

- Grapes and orange

 

Add the sliced fruits to a pitcher, bottle or glass of water. You can keep adding water throughout the day. Keep it on a cool place or the fridge if the day it's too hot.
